MINBAEV NABIJAN

junior sergeant, participant of the Second World War, Hero of the Soviet Union (March 24, 1945).

Nabidjan Minbaev was born on February 12, 1918 in Namangan (now Uzbekistan). After graduating from the 4th grade of school, he worked on a collective farm. In 1941, Minbaev was drafted into the Red Army, and since 1943, a participant in World War II.
Until June 1944, Junior Sergeant Nabidjan Minbaev was a group commander in the 1261st Rifle Regiment of the 381st Rifle Division of the 21st Army of the Leningrad Front. He worked hard to liberate the Leningrad region. On June 10, 1944, during a battle near the village of Lembolovo in the Vsevolozhsk district, Minbaev took command of the platoon, attacked the platoon and threw the enemy. In that fight, Minbaev was wounded, but the fight continues.
By the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 24, 1945, Junior Sergeant Nabidjan Minbaev was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
