Born on September 15, 1922 in the village of Bakchakalon, now in the Khatyrchi district of Navoi region, in a peasant family. Uzbek. He graduated from 8 classes. He worked at the state farm.
In November 1940 he was drafted into the Red Army. He served in the infantry as an excellent student in military training was sent to study at the Kharkov Military Infantry School. The war began when he was a cadet. In June 1941, along with the school, he was evacuated east to the city of Namangan. From the first days, like many cadets, he sought sending to the front. Only in the summer of 1942, with a marching platoon, never finishing his studies, he was sent to the army.
At the front since August 1942. He fought in the infantry, on the Volkhov, Leningrad and 2nd Belorussian fronts. He was wounded three times. By the beginning of 1944, Sergeant Ravshanov was the submachine gunner of the 340th Infantry Regiment of the 46th Infantry Division.

In 1945 he was demobilized. He lived in the city of Navoi. He worked as a fitter of the Yugprommontazh trust.
He died on January 31, 1988.
