   Born September 15, 1903 in the village Lyagushovka of the Chembarsky district of the Penza province, now the Belinsky district of the Penza region. Russian. He graduated from grade 2.
   In the years 1925-1927 he served in the Red Army. On the eve of the war, he lived and worked as a salesman in a store in the city of Fergana.
   In September 1941 he was again drafted into the army. Since August 1942, he participated in battles with invaders on the North Caucasus and 1st Ukrainian fronts. By the beginning of 1944, Staff Sergeant Dyrov had already commanded the calculation of the 45-mm guns of the 1279th Infantry Regiment of the 389th Infantry Division. On January 16, 1944, in a battle near the village of Zozovo (40 km north-east of the city of Vinnitsa), staff sergeant Dyrov, beating off an enemy counterattack, hit 4 machine guns from an open firing position, eliminated an enemy manpower platoon and a car.
   By order of February 11, 1944, Staff Sergeant Dyrov Andrey Yakovlevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.
   On July 13, 1944, during the breakthrough of the enemy’s defense at the border of the cities of Lutsk – Gorokhov (Volyn Region of Ukraine), staff sergeant Dyrov, commanding the crew, put down 3 machine guns with direct fire, and an anti-tank gun during the pursuit of the enemy. On July 14, near the village of Porvanche, 20 km west of the Styr River, together with the soldiers destroyed 2 armored personnel carriers and more than 10 Nazis.
   By order of November 10, 1944, Staff Sergeant Dyrov Andrey Yakovlevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.
   On January 14, 1945, in the battle for the village of Domashevichi (Poland), Staff Sergeant Dyrov discovered a cluster of enemy infantry on its outskirts and hit up to 10 soldiers and officers with artillery fire. When approaching the village of Slopiec-Shlakhecki, 14 km south-east of the city of Kielce (Poland), and then in the street battles he crushed 3 firing points and destroyed a lot of enemy manpower. After all the calculation numbers were out of order, one fired from the guns on the enemy infantry, destroying more than 10 soldiers.
   By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated June 27, 1945 “For the exemplary performance of command assignments in battles with Nazi invaders”, Staff Sergeant Dyrov Andrei Yakovlevich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree.
   In September 1945 he was demobilized. He lived in the city of Fergana, before retiring he worked as a carpenter.
   He died on September 5, 1977.
